Property Details

General Description
The farmhouse offers a spacious comfortable lounge with a log burner, satellite television, DVD player and hi fi. The original ceiling beams and oak staircase add to the charm of this lovely gite. There are two large airy bedrooms with twin beds and a single bed in each.Single beds can be swapped for cots or a cot just added if required. Both rooms have wonderful views over the pool area and surrounding hills and valley. There are two bathrooms, both with showers and WC`s, one bathroom has a sunken bath. The fully fitted kitchen/diner has a dishwasher, microwave and fridge, whilst outside there is a private terrace with barbecue and patio furniture for al fresco dining

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
Two very spacious light and airy bedrooms have three single beds in each and both have access to a shower room and toilet. There is a large bathroom downstairs with a full size sunken bath.

Living Areas
A large lounge diner features confortable chairs and sofa with a large dining table and fully equipped kitchen. La Rose de l`Isle is opn all year round and La Ferme has its own log burning fire for winter breaks or Christmas.

Kitchen / Dining
A fully equipped kitchen and dining area is part of the large downstairs living area and features a hob, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc.

Swimming Pool
Our pool is a beautiful 12m X 6m sal water pool with a constant depth of 1.2M. The pool is ideal for swimming or playing games and is safe for non-swimmers and children. The pool is fitted with the latest child alarm and is fully compliant with all French pool regulations

Outside
La Ferme has its own balcony offering breathtaking views over the valley.There is a table and chairs and large stone BBQ for al-fresco dining.

Location
La Rose is ideally placed in the West of the Dordogne with Sarlat just over an hour away and the Atlantic beaches just over an hour and a half away. The Dordogne has been described as “The country of a thousand castles” and with pre-historic caves, lake beaches and river sport all within striking distance La Rose is the ideal place to base your French holiday.

Changeover Details
Normally saturday but we are very flexible about this to allow bookings for an odd number of days and to let our visitors take advantage of cheaper mid week air fares.

Extra Details
As part of the La Rose de l`Isle complex guests have access to the ""La Fontaine"" massage and reflexology salon.
