Property Details

General Description
The Old Barn is perfect for parties or large families. This huge spacious gite has beautiful beams, galleried stairs and a log burner. Satellite TV, DVD and hi fi are all provided. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and cooker. There are five bedrooms, two that sleep 2 people, and three that sleep 3 people enabling up to 13 people to stay, whilst still offering sufficient privacy and space for everyone. There are two fitted bathrooms and showers and WC’s. Outside there is a very large decked terrace where a barbecue and patio furniture is provided, the views from here and the lounge are magnificent. There is also a large private garden.

There are 5 bedrooms in total; two doubles one with its own private balcony, one bedroom with two single beds, one family room with four single beds and "The Crow`s Nest" a fantastic nautically themed kids bedroom with three single beds set high in the rigging (Loft)

A large fitted kitchen includes an oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and microwave

Swimming Pool
Our pool is a beautiful 12m X 6m sal water pool with a constant depth of 1.2M. The pool is ideal for swimming or playing games and is safe for non-swimmers and children. The pool is fitted with the latest child alarm and is fully compliant with all French pool regulations

Outside
La Vielle Grange has its own huge gated private garden and a large outside and elevared decking area for al-fresco dining. There is a huge stone BBQ by the decking. A large outside table can seat up to 13 people.

Location
La Rose is ideally placed in the West of the Dordogne with Sarlat just over an hour away and the Atlantic beaches just over an hour and a half away. The Dordogne has been described as “The country of a thousand and one castles” and with pre-historic caves, lake beaches and river sport all within striking distance La Rose is the ideal place to base your French holiday.

Changeover Details
Generally Saturday but we are happy to be flexible to allow longer breaks and let guests take advantage of cheaper mid week flights.

Extra Details
La Vielle Grange is capable of sleeping up to 13 people but is also ideal for smaller parties and has been priced extrememly competitively.
