General Description
The flat is a spacious 2 bedroom-1 bath terrace apartment upstairs in the gate house on the property. The gate house consists of 2 units with separate entrances, one upstairs on one side of the house and the other downstairs on the other side. The guests do not meet unless they desire to.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
There are 2 bedrooms, one of which has a queen-sized bed. The other has a double bed with a skylight and roof that slopes down to 1.35 meters at the far end of the room. There is a full bath with marble tiles, skylight, and tub and shower facilities. Linens are provided.

Living Areas
There is a large, open, living area with high ceiling and beams including sitting and dining areas and an open kitchen.

Kitchen / Dining
The kitchen is well-equipped, and dishes and cooking ware are supplied.

Outside
There is a very pretty terrace with a chaise longue and table and chairs for outdoor dining.

Location
It is set in one of the most beautiful residential areas of Aix with lovely Provencal vegetation. The location is one of the best features of the property, as it is a peaceful, semi-country setting but at the same time very close to the center of town (2 miles).
There are shops about a mile away and frequent bus service about 700 meters from the house.

Changeover Details
The rental price ranges from 290 to 900 euros a week depending on season and length of stay (1150 euros a month for a long-term rental). There is also a security deposit due.
Short term rentals include all fees except phone and a cleaning charge. Long-trem rentals for which there is a significant degressive rate do not include utilities.
There is a preference for longer-term rentals during the academic year (September to May), although there is flexibility. The minimum stay is a week.

Extra Details
The flat is spacious, tastefully furnished, well-insulated with a marble bathroom, Italian tile throughout, overhead beams, and large built-in cupboards. It is light and bright and was recently redone. The environment is lovely and peaceful.
