General Description
The villa is the ground floor of a gate house on the property. It is surrounded by terraces on 3 sides with small gardens in the front and back.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
There are 3 spacious bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed, a second one with a double bed, and the third one with 2 single beds. All 3 have built-in cupboards. Linens are provided.
There are 2 bathrooms tiled in marble, one of which is ensuite with a built-in shower. The other has a bathtub with shower connection.

Living Areas
There is a roomy living room with high ceiling and skylight..

Kitchen / Dining
The built-in, well-equipped kitchen opens onto the dining room, which contains a fireplace. There is a refrigerator with a 3-drawer freezer compartment. All dishes and cooking ware are provided.

Outside
There are French doors in both the kitchen and dining room, which lead to the front terrace and garden with table and chairs for outside dining. The terrace is shaded by a large fig tree. Two of the bedrooms have French doors leading to the back terrace and garden where there are table, chairs, and chaise longues for basking in the sun.

Location
It is located in one of the loveliest areas of Aix in a quiet semi-counrty setting, but only 2 miles from the Cours Mirabeau, the beautiful and bustling "Champs Elysees" of Aix. There are shops about a mile away and frequent bus service about 700 meters from the house.

Changeover Details
Rental cost varies from 450 to 1400 euros a week accrding to season and length of stay (1800 euros a month for a long-term period.)
Short-term rentals include all fees except phone and a cleaning charge. Long-term rentals for which there is a significant degressive rate do not include utilities.
There is also a security deposit, which can vary according to the number of guests and the length of stay.
There is a preference for longer-term rentals during the academic year, although there is flexibility. The minimum stay is a week.

Extra Details
The house is spacious, tastefully furnished, well-insulated with marble bathrooms, Italian tile throughout, overhead beams, and large built-in cupboards. It is light, bright, and was recently redone. The environment is lovely and quiet with abundant Provencal vegetation.
