Property Details

General Description
This extremely large and stylish apartment, completely refurbished to a very high standard in the summer of 2007, is on the first floor of a delightful late 1800’s building. The beautifully appointed contemporary interior offers well designed and comfortable living space for up to eight guests, and is air conditioned throughout. The accommodation is comprised of 3 bedrooms (one with a balcony), a large living/dining room, well equipped modern kitchen, a bathroom, a shower room and a cloakroom with toilet. All the rooms have very high ceilings and large windows, making this a beautifully light and airy apartment. The bedrooms all over-look gardens and one of them has a delightful little balcony. Contemporary furniture, soft furnishings, artwork and lighting all add to the feeling of luxury throughout the property. The apartment is just 9 minutes walk from the Palais de Festivals so it is ideally located accommodation for the many conferences held there each year.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
All three bedrooms are spacious, light and airy, and overlook gardens.

Bedroom 1 with twin beds (can be made up as a double bed) and fireplace.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds (can be made up as a double bed if the sofabed is not being used), fireplace and balcony overlooking gardens.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds and fireplace.

Living Areas
Very large living room with an original fireplace. There is a dining area at one end - table seats 8 people & is ideal for use as conference table. The seating area has two 3 seater leather sofas and a 3 seater sofa bed (sleeps 2).

There is a large t.v. with satellite, a dvd player, cd player, internet access and telephone.

Kitchen / Dining
Brand new fully equipped modern kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge & freezer.

Outside
Small balcony leads off bedroom 2.

Location
The apartment is right in the heart of Cannes - 2 minutes walk to the station, 4 minutes to the Rue d`antibes (and all the wonderful shops!), and 6 or 7 minutes to the closest beach.

Changeover Details
30% non-refundable deposit on booking. A refundable breakages deposit of £300 is required (upon final payment), which will returned to you at the end of the stay if there is no damage and keys are returned safely. (Minor breakages such as crockery and glasses will not be charged for).

Departure times:
We request that guests arrive after 2.30pm and depart by 11.00am. However, we will do our best to be flexible where possible, especially if there is no booking directly before or after yours.

Extra Details
Golf
Several local golf courses.

Skiing
Sking is about about 1 Hour 30 Min drive away in the resorts of Auron, Isola 2000 and Valberg. You can go for a days trip and return in the evening for the nightlife of Cannes.

Travel
Nice airport is 30 km from Cannes

By Car: 25 minutes - car hire available at airport. There`s free parking in the street outside the apartment, but for secure underground parking expect to pay from 15 euros per day in various local car parks.

By Bus: There is a direct bus from the airport every ½ hour until 8pm, & its about 10 minute walk to our apartments from the bus stop

By Train: trains from Nice station go to Cannes & the station is very close to the apartment.

Distances
Ideal for exploring the whole of the Cote d`Azur; Nice, Monaco, St Tropez, Port Grimaud, St Paul de Vence, Gourdon and the mountains are all within an hours drive.

Further details
Local shops, restaurants, supermarket, banks, chemist, bakery etc in the immediate vicinity. Daily market near the old port of Cannes with fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers, spices etc. In house catering can be arranged if required.

CONFERENCE PERIODS: Important: please note that the prices for the conference and festival periods and Christmas & NYE will be different - please contact me for prices (from £285 - £500 per night).

Linen and towels are available at a cost of £10 p/p per week. (Changed more often by arrangement). A fee of £45 for the final clean is payable with final booking payment. For stays more than 1 week there is a mid-stay clean for a fee of £20.
