Property Details

General Description
Our lovely recently restored stone farmhouse for 9+ baby,is set in a quiet hamlet of worldfamous Black Périgord,Southwest France.With its private pool,it`s well equipped and labelled 4**** by the Tourist Board and 3 Ears of corn by Gites de France.Its comfort ,privacy and location can`t but make your stay truly enjoyable
The countryside is particularly pleasant for walking and cycling .and the area is specially famous for its good food (foie gras ,duck meat,truffles), and wines.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
Downstairs:a double room(kingsize bed),with its shower room and toilets.
Upstairs:3 bedrooms:1 double,1 twin-bedded with a cot,1 three-bedded,all with local stylefurniture,1 bathroom and independent toilets..In the corridor,a reading corner with indoor games and books for kids and adults(English and French).

Living Areas
With its exposed beams,oak doors,stairs and shutters,tiled floors,partly exposed stone walls,the house is attractive and authentic;downstairs,the main room,with its fully equipped open plan kitchen,overlooks a large covered terrace,a close flowered garden and the totally safe pool,with a nice view around.

Kitchen / Dining
The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher,microwave,gas stove and oven,washing machine,tumble drier,electric kettle,etc
the dining corner sits 9 persons,so do the 2 sofas and armchairs to watch TV or Dvds or listen to Hifi or use the free Wifi access which is provided indoors or outdoors.Assorted dining equipment for 12 to 15 pers.

Swimming Pool
sunny and safely fenced salted pool with Roman steps(10 by 5 m) surrounded by a tiled terrace,very close to the house and covered terrace.

Outside
You can sunbathe on the sunny pool terrace or the sunbeds through a secured gate which leads to the safe saltwater pool(10x5).(sunbeds,strollers and parasols provided).
The roofed terrace is cool in summer for meals or simply relaxing,teck and oak furniture,seating for 10.Swings in the garden,plenty of outdoor games(water games,badminton,skittles,darts) are available too. .
In the front courtyard ,you can play tennis table.
The covered BBQ corner provides a charcoal grill and an electric plancha.
Large parking for several cars

Location
Set in Black Périgord,near the impressive castle of Hautefort,30-40 mn away from the Lascaux Caves,the Vézère and Dordogne Valleys,the famous medieval town of Sarlat,it`s easily accessible by lowcost airlines(Ryanair,Flybe,1 hour drive from Limoges or Bergerac) or British Airways,Airfrance,Airllingus(2 hour drive from Bordeaux or Toulouse).

Changeover Details
changeover on Saturdays.Arrival after 4pm,departure no later than 10 pm.
Possible short stays(3 nights minimum) on request in low or mid season.

Extra Details
Outdoor activities nearby:walking,cycling,tennis,canoeing,quadbiking,balloon flights.
Baby equipment is provided free on request:highchair,bath,folding bed (60w120) with the necessary bed equipment,stairgate(a child bed is already available in 1 bedroom)

Prices are all included(linen ,towels,electricity,water,tourist taxes).In low or mid season,if heating is needed,an extra will be asked according to consumption on the meter.
Cleaning option on departure:90ˆ(if not,the gite is expected to be left in the same condition as on arrival)
Booking deposit:25% of the total amount to be paid by Paypal or bank transfer.
