XVI th Century Hotel Particulier in the heart of Historical District, renovated with love and tender care. Extremely calm rooms and herbal garden with view of the cathedral, Modern comfort charm of the past Great cookbook library mostly in English of over 500 references Table d`hote on request, we love to cook and showcase the wonderful local products. visits to the market on request

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
The bed rooms are decorated with flair and high quality textiles they have 1,60 meter beds, king size they are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms have modern open showers Italian style with thick towels

Living Areas
The living room is spacious with an extremely large screen cable TV, The world cookbook and art book library collected over the years to discover other cultures.

Kitchen / Dining
The kitchen is very spacious and we enjoy cooking with people who are passionate about flavors we have a wide old fashion stove with 2 ovens, facing a dining room with view of the garden where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner in a private setting. We also serve weather permitting in the garden.

Outside
The garden is the jewel of our house it is very private walled in with charming dependances with slate roof in the back, we have planted aromatic herbs that we use in our cooking daily breakfast there is quite a treat and an aperitif or dinner in a sweet spring or summer night a memory for times to come

Location
Located in the heart of Saintes in the Charente Maritime , historical and artistic city with Roman influence. Many museums to visit a great theater and the Abbey aux dame with musical academies. Half an hour from the cost and the wonderful beaches around we are enjoying a more peaceful atmosphere along the river Charente and its numerous historical and water related activities.

Suite for 4 people in 2 rooms is 125 for master bedroom with salon and 65 Euros for 2 single beds with breakfast included
