General Description
Cute stone cottage ( former bread oven ) Converted, with taste, this lovely little cottage is a great retreat for two. Ideal for a short romantic break or longer holiday. Very comfortable and fully equipped as a gite but we can also offer Bed and Breakfast for a really relaxed holiday where you can cook if you want but not if you don`t. We think that`s what a holiday is all about, choice and comfort.

Location
Ideally situated for visiting or just relaxing. Only a stones throw from the village of Le Thoureil, one of the prettiest villages along the south bank of the Loire. La petite maison is set in the grounds of the old farm, Roche a vent, along with the Farmhouse and two other cottages but it is compltely independent of the other cottages. The owners also live on site in a converted barn, again, separate. The friendly but discrete French speaking, English owners are there to help if required.
There is a vineyard within walking distance and others not far away. For gourmets there are a number of excellent Restaurants nearby at which we can make resevations for you.The historic tourist town of Saumur is only 20 minutes away and there are many other lovely towns and villages close by along with Golf Courses,Chateaux, Lake, Outdoor Pools, Fishing, Walking, Cycling and lots more.
Or for something different why not let us book you a hot air baloon flight and really experience the beauty of this lovely region.
