General Description
Very comfortable stone built cottage, converted from farm building. Situated in a walled garden and overlooking open countryside. The cottage has an extensive open area to front of property. Lovely for a family holiday ( with lots of space for the children to play ) or as a couples retreat and short break location. Although there are other properties in the grounds ie Farmhouse and another cottage, Les Chenes is completely separate. Friendly, discrete, French speaking, English owners, also live on site ( there to help if required ) but the converted barn is not visible from the cottage.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
There are two bedrooms one large one with a double and a single bed. and further beroom with a double bed. There is a shared showeroom and toilet. All of the accommodation is situated on one level.

Living Areas
Les Chenes comprises of a large living area / kitchen with a cathedral roof and beams. There is a well equipped kitchen corner, Dining table and chairs, sofa and armchair, TV, VCR, CD.

Kitchen / Dining
Well equipped Kitchen with full sized cooker , fridge / freezer and microwave. ( A washing machine for your use is situated in the cellar just behind the cottage )

Outside
There is an extensive garden area with views over open countryside equipped with wooden table and chairs, parasol and barbeque.

Location
Situated in a idyllic, peaceful, rural location a short distance from a renowned picturesque village on the river Loire. There`s a vineyard within waling distance an many more a short drive away.Saumur a historic tourist town is a 20 minute drive and there are many other lovely towns and villages, Chateaux,Golf Courses, Excellent restaurants, Lake, Outdoor swimming pools and other places of interest not far away. But Les Chenes is not just situated in ideal spot for sightseeing it`s a place worthy of exploring for walkers,cyclists and those just looking for relaxation!
