A small (25 sq. m) stone building in the rural region of `Mountains and springs`, in a hamlet of 3 houses. Conceived ecologically with organic material and solar pannels. Ideal for relaxing; Garden with flowers and fruit trees. Well-equipped and cool in the summer. 1850 stone bread-oven for barbeque. Splendid environment but transport is needed. BED AND BREAKFAST ALSO AVAILABLE.

Medieval stone hamlet. use of the terrassed garden and the orchard. Fish pond.You walk straight into nature and the forests. Springs nearby and Avène Lake at 10 minutes`drive.

Location
The Hamlet of LA MENDRERIE is in the Haut Languedoc is at about `00 meters high, at 75 km fro, the Méditerranée, and still very authentic; nearest main towns and airports is Montpellier, Nime, Carcassonne and now Rodez.
Smaller town: Lodève and bédarieux, about half an hour`s drive to La Mendrerie.

Extra Details
The gite bio is suitable for 2/3 people who are nature lovers, even though there are plenty of cultural events in Avène and nearby. Most sports, including rambling, swimming, rafting, fishing, tennis etc. Special interest for geologists; birds watchers.
