Les Glycines chambres d`hôtes and appartment with possibility to table d`hôtes with regional dishes accompanied by - organic - wines.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
This year we will have 2 double rooms available, with their own bathroom and toilet en suite and 2 double rooms sharing a toilet and a shower. We offer an apartment that sleeps 4 to 5 persons. The rooms and the apartment can also be rented as group accommodation (sleeps a maximum of 13).

Living Areas
In the northern tip of the department Alpes de Haute Provence, between Sisteron and Laragne-Montéglin, you will find the village of Mison-les-Armands. A couple of hundred meters outside the village, towards Mison-le-Village, you will find Les Glycines surrounded by many trees and lush vegetation. The wonderful climate, at least 300 sunny days a year, makes it an ideal place for outdoor activities. From the house you can make marvellous walks across the hilly landscape with the foothills of the Alps on the horizon. Mountain hikes and climbing are popular local sports, as are horse back riding and mountain biking. Until we finish building the swimming pool, you can bathe in the Gorge de la Méouge, wonderful cool water with rough beaches between two nearby mountains, or for example the "Lac de Riou" north of Laragne.
The area is renowned for its excellent flying possibilities: hang gliding, sailplane gliding and paragliding, almost all year round! Flying cross country in this area is comfortable because of the strong up-currents and the excellent infrastructure for retrieving equipment and pilots. People fly their first cross country here because of the safe environment: the broad valleys enable you to land almost anywhere.

Kitchen / Dining
Breakfast is served to guests renting a room. About three times a week we offer a “table d’hôte”, where you can taste the local specialties. On the days that we do not prepare meals, guests are welcome to use our well equipped outdoor kitchen withbarbecue. There is a list available with good restaurants in Sisteron, Ribiers and Laragne

Location
Les Glycines is located on the edge of Mison-les-Armands. It is a former hotel-café-restaurant from 1870, which has now been turned into a holiday accommodation with “chambres d`hôtes” and self-catering apartment. The building has been thoroughly refurbished but the original style of the building has been maintained. The house has a large garden facing south, which offers shade under the chestnut and cherry trees and a beautiful large terrace of 150 m2 sheltered from the sun by a magnificent wisteria (glycines).
