General Description
Our 16C house is situated in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in France. It has all the modern comforts and has kept its original features of exposed beams, wafer bricks, stone window surrounds and hand trowelled walls.
The whole house benefits from the comfort of reversible air pumps so it`s cool in summer and warm in winter.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
The bedrooms are spacious, have very large double beds, books in french and english, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryers. The bathrooms have either bath with shower over or shower stall, double sinks and toilet.

Living Areas
The dining/kitchen area is 60 sq. mtrs, american open-plan in style with high, oak beamed ceilings. The salon, just off the dining room, is smaller and cosy with an open, woodburning fireplace.

Kitchen / Dining
Breakfast is served in our dining room or on the covered terrace looking onto the garden in warm weather.

Outside
We have a small walled garden with several terraces for guests` use. The terraces are equipped with wooden garden furniture and night lights.

Location
The village of La Bastide Clairence is 5 mins from the A64 Bayonne/Pau motorway, 20 mins from Bayonne and 25 minutes from Biarritz. Our house in on the main street in the centre of the village and has a walled garden at the back with off-road parking for two cars.

Changeover Details
Minimum 2 night stays. 50 euros deposit required or 25% of total booking if more than 3 nights. Credit cards not accepted.

Extra Details
We propose evening meals on Mondays and Thursdays - must be booked in advance.
We accept small dogs in the ground floor bedroom called La Terrasse.
