Beautifully renovated stone cottage with heated swimming pool set in 10 acres of land in the heart of the Brittany countryside between the towns of Pontivy and Mur de Bretagne with direct access to the Nantes Brest canal. An ideal area for fishing walking and cycling holidays or just somewhere to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and the open views.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor - I double bed, one twin bed and one bunk bed. Duvets and pillows are provided. Bed linen can be provided on request ( £5 per bed per week ) A cot is also available on request. There are electric heaters in each room.
There is a modern bathroom - bath with integral shower, washbasin and toilet.

Living Areas
The ground floor is open plan with a comfortable lounge area with settees and comfy chairs. There is a television (French channels only ) a DVD player and a CD player and radio. There is a wood burning stove and an electric heater.

Kitchen / Dining
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, cooker, microwave and china and cutlery etc for 6 people. There is also a washing machine. There is a dining area within the kitchen with a large table and seating for up to 8 people. High chair available on request

Outside
The Cottage is set in 10 acres of grounds, part of which is lawned and part meadow. Garden furniture and barbecue are provided. There is also a child`s swing.
The Swimming pool is set in one corner and is shared with two other gites. It is 11.20m in length x 4.20m in width ranging in depth from one to two metres. It is heated and is open from mid May until mid September.
The grounds back on to the Nantes Brest canal and the River Blavet with its tow path - ideal for fishermen, walkers and cyclists

Location
St Samson has a rural setting but is only a 10 minute drive from Pontivy with its restaurants, shops and full range of services. It is within a 1 hour drive of both the north and south coasts of Brittany and within easy reach of the ferry ports of Roscoff and St Malo ( 1 hour 30 mins ) and the airports at Rennes, Dinard, Lorient ( 1 hour 30 mins ) and Brest ( 2 hours )
Neraby ( 10 mins ) is the Lac de Guerledan with its safe sandy beaches and watersports (swimming, canoeing, wind surfing water skiing etc )

Changeover Details
During the peak season the changeover day is Saturday however we will try to be more flexible during the rest of the year. 20% deposit will be required at the time of the booking with the balkance of the rental to be paid a month before the holiday. We also ask for a security deposit of 150ˆ on arrival which will be returned to you at the end of your stay less any breakages or damage

St Samson is the ideal holiday location for both adults and children. Plenty of things to do in the area or the chance to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
