Property Details

General Description
"La Salière" is ideally located in the country side between Annecy & Aix-les-Bains. This typical Savoyard farmhouse has been renovated over the last few years to create a cosy bed&breakfast. You may enjoy our modern swimming pool with telescopic roofing system, which extend nicely the season.
It`s an ideal place to discover all the sights and outdoor activities that offer our beautiful area. Free Wifi access.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
We have 5 large guestrooms (the smallest is 21m2) all with private bathroom/shower room & WC, including a suite with whirlpool bath.
- The Nature room has a king size bed, plus a sofa bed. With an additional bed it`s suitable up to 4 pax. En suite bathroom and a separate WC.
- The Aurore room has a king size bed, plus a sofa bed. Suitable up to 3 pax. En suite shower room and a separate WC.
- The Azur room has a king size bed with baldachin. En suite bathroom and a separate WC. Suitable for 2 pax
- the Artiste room is an unusual room on the top floor with a living room with a sofa bed and the king size bed is nested (watch your head) in the mezzanine accessible by a stair overlooking a large window screen (3 meters by 4.4 meters). En suite WC and a bathroom with a whirlpool bath. Suitable up to 2 or 3 pax.
- The Horizon room is a suite in the attic. There is the bedroom with a king size bed and a separate living room with 2 sofa beds. En suite bathroom with a whirlpool bath and a separate WC. With an additional bed it`s suitable up to 5 pax.
The rooms are non smoking and we do not accept pets.

Living Areas
A nice living room with a sofa & a couple of armchairs. As well as a desk where a computer linked to Internet will be installed early 2007.

Kitchen / Dining
A large room is dedicated to the meals. You will find a cooking area fully equipped with fridges, small oven, micro wave oven, cook tops, toaster, boiler, coffee machine, sink, etc... Then we have 3 tables and their chairs.

Swimming Pool
Swimming pool with telescopic roofing system which extend nicely the season and cross current system.

Outside
We have a garden on one side of the house, used for the meals and the rest under our huge old tree. On the other side of the house we have the cover swimming pool and a lawn.
In the property, there is as well a parking space.

Location
La Salière is nearby the historical town of Annecy, where you can enjoy the XIVth century old town as well as its Museum. You may also discover, from spring to autumn, the medieval castles of Montrottier and Clermont.
The area will also suit anybody who is looking for outdoor activities such as cycling, fishing, horse riding, sailing, scuba diving. During the winter, some family friendly skiing resorts are just a short drive away. Alpine ski resorts are further away, approximately 1 hour`s drive for La Clusaz & le Grand Bornand.

Changeover Details
Most of the year rental for 1 days is possible. Credit cards not accepted, but we accept Paypal (http://www.paypal.com) payment for the deposit. The balance has to be paid by cash or travellers cheques.
As part of the French Label `Gîtes de France`, we will send you an official Gîte de France contract when you book with us.
Special sales conditions:
* During the months of July & August, the bookings should be for at least 2 nights stay.
* For some French Bank Holidays 2007, the booking should include at least the following nights:
- Easter, the nights of the 7th & 8th April 2007
- Labour Day, the nights of the 28th, 29th & 30th April 2007
- Victory Day, the nights of 5th, 6th & 7th May 2007
- Ascension, the nights of 17th, 18th & 19th May 2007
- AllSaints, the nights of the 1st, 2nd & 3rd November 2007
- Christmas, the nights of 22nd, 23rd & 24th December 2007
- New Year, the nights of 29th, 30th & 31st December 2007

Extra Details
Diner is available on reservation. You will discover at our table all the typical Savoyard finest foods & wines. On Sundays & Bankholidays brunch, with Savoyard inspiration, is also available .
Free Wifi access and early 2007 free Internet access through a public computer.
