General Description
Les Cerisiers is a delightful two bedroomed charentaise stone cottage surrounded by vineyards and orchards. Sleeps 5. There is a 10 x 6m heated pool and the gite is set in grounds of 3 acres, It is only 20 minutes to the nearest sandy beaches. The English owners are adjacent.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
The master bedroom has an antique iron bedstead and features an exposed stone wall and the original bread oven arch.The second bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed has sufficient space for a travel cot (supplied free of charge).
The shower room is spacious and luxurious, towels and bed linen are provided free of charge and changed weekly.

Living Areas
The living area is designed for comfort with a large good quality sofa bed and two armchairs.The living area has UK satelite TV, plus a DVD and CD player. There are radiators and a woodstove for out of season lets.

Kitchen / Dining
The kitchen and dining area has enough seating for 6 to 8 and is fully equipped with a full size oven and hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.

Swimming Pool
The 10m x 6m heated pool is designed to satisfy a family’s needs. The
shallow area makes up half of the pool (1m and 1.2 m deep) and is accessed by wide steps, then slopes rapidly to 2.3m and gives
competent swimmers the chance to play too. It is equipped with an alarm to comply with French pool security laws and peace of mind for clients. Surrounded by trees and shrubs, it blends into its
surroundings without detracting from wonderful views. The area around the pool is excellent for sunbathing and relaxing with a drink. The pool has lighting means it is great for those who like a late night dip. Badminton and Swingball also available.

Location
Set amonst vineyards and orchards, Les Cerisiers is set in a relaxing rural location. The nearest town od Gemozac is 7km away. The nearest sandy beaches are just 20 minutes away. Bordeaux and La Rochelle with their airports and historic centres are about an hours drive. The towns of Cognac and Saintes are also closeby.
