General Description
Four star converted barn which has excellently combined the character of a 200 year old barn with the comfort of modern living.
Sleeping 6-8 people, and allowing for everyone to enjoy their own style of holiday, whether it be reading, listening to music, star-gazing, playing games or to venture out into the green and serene which is to be found on the doorstep.
A great area to discover the rugged Cantal, the cheeses of both Cantal and Aveyron, the lakes for fishing and swimming, the mountains around Le Lioran and Laguiole for wintkr skiing or summer walking. Most importantly, a great area to recharge the batteries.

Lounge area with comfortable leather seating and two sets of sliding doors onto suspended terrace.

Large secure garden looking out over neighbour`s fields where donkeys come to greet you.
We have created a jeu de boules court for your enjoyment.
A BBQ is available for you, as is garden furniture.

Location
3km from the medieval village of Mur de Barrez, the capital of the Carladez region of northern Aveyron. We are about 5 minutes south of the Cantal, part of the Auvergne, the largest volcanic region of Europe.
Quiet and peaceful, only occasionally interrupted by some wild boar or deer, where the only hold-up on your journey might be a herd of cows moving from one field to the next.
Nearest airport Rodez, 1 1/4 hour, nearest station Aurillac 35 minutes.

Changeover Details
Changeover day is Saturday. Guests are welcome to arrive any time after 4. Departure on Saturday before 11.
Other arrival days can be accommodated subject to availability and out of season.
Booking via email or telephone; we speak English, French and Dutch.
If you have any special requirements we are happy to accommodate them if we can.

Extra Details
Bedlinen included.
Towels included, but not beach towels.
Kitchen fully equipped with cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and all crockery and cutlery.
We live next door and promise to be on hand for any onward reservations, bookings for restaurants, golfing, horse-riding and / or general information, but we equally promise to leave you in peace to enjoy the privacy and serenity which made us fall in love with this area ourselves.
Sorry but we do not accept pets.
We do not charge extra for the clean at the end of your stay though we ask you treat the place as if it were your own home and respect its contents. If anything breaks, please let us know immediately and, where possible, arrange for replacement so the next guests can arrive to the same comfort.
